Wedding Outfit Inspiration

Morning All. Hope you had a great weekend? Apologies for my absence on Friday - phew what a week! We raced down to Surrey, not a part of the country I'm familiar with, on Friday for a very beautiful wedding.

It was very traditional set in the grounds of a grand old house along a winding country road. Idyllic. This was my outfit. What do you think? I went for a very long, flowing vintage dress with bead detail in a bright canary yellow with a clashing bright cerise jacket, and to give it a modern twist went for a leopard print belt from Next that they still have in store at the moment here.

Here is a little style inspiration from the high street, because I know it can be frustrating trying to find something similar to a vintage look. There are some great designs out there at the moment that have a 50s and 60s feel, with pretty bead details and cute swing shapes, or that long dramatic 40s style. It's a good time to be looking coming up to Christmas.

Do you have any parties you're planning for?

1. Blue dress, Coast
2. Red dress, Coast
3. Pink beaded dress, Warehouse
4. Purple scalloped dress, Ted Baker
5. Long pale blue dress, Mango
