Monday evening here and a busy week ahead for me organising a really fun charity event at the weekend. It's in aid of our local cancer charity and will be an opportunity for friends and colleagues in the yoga community to really chill out for an evening, so lots of fun things to prepare ahead.

In the meantime I spotted this on Twitter today and wanted to share it as it throws up lots of things I've been addressing recently in my blog. Style and how we live today. It's a new device by Intel called MICA that is both a fashion accessory and offers wearers an integrated device for all their hectic social and business media.

Now in principle this seems like a brilliant idea. After all who doesn't want something that looks great and serves a brilliant function so you don't have a phone / laptop / tablet to carry around the whole time.  But there is a part of me that thinks, hold on a minute, if you don't have the time to properly sit down and schedule your life and you have to be doing everything simultaneously surely there's something wrong? Our addiction to being busy and multi-tasking is in danger of becoming endemic in certain circles.

This may be the future of wearable technology but I can also see a backlash that might emerge. A new-found joy in paper and pen, a notebook and possibly even talking face to face. Who knows? It might catch on.

I'd love to know what you think. x
